Brittany Quickel is a psychic medium, retired sign language interpreter, and an internationally trained supervision leader. She was born and raised in Northern New Jersey in an Italian American community where she was taught ancestral healing practices from Italian folk magic traditions that have been passed down from the generations of Italian women in her family.
Brittany is also a writer, artist, dancer, and filmmaker with a passion for supernatural occultism. She is passionate about visual storytelling and preserving ancestral traditions that have been nearly lost within her own lineage.
With Chiaroscuro Tarot, Brittany utilizes her psychic and artistic gifts to provide clients with a deeper understanding of their current situation in addition to offering Reiki energy healing and hypnosis. She specializes in helping artists and creatives to see their own gifts through a psychic lens and overcome creative blocks holding them back from sharing their artistic gifts with the world.
In her decade-long career as a professional sign language interpreter, Brittany received extensive training as a Supervision Leader within the profession of linguistic interpreting. She has led several trainings and supervision groups over the years, bringing independent interpreters together to connect and learn from each other in confidential and supportive groups.
Brittany is one of the very first Internationally Certified Supervision Leaders who graduated from the pioneering first cohort of formally trained Supervision Leaders in 2019 with IIRAS International, the Interpreting Institute for Reflection in Action & Supervision after three years of extensive training and experience.
Alchemizing her experiences and training as a supervision leader, psychic medium, and practitioner of Italian American indigenous shamanism, Brittany is looking forward to introducing this valuable work to her fellow shamanic practitioners around the world. She hopes to share reflective practice and group supervision with motivated practitioners who can then alchemize these practices within their own work and communities.
